1. Mylee loves to run! When i go for walks outside, I tell mylee we are going running, and she says i need my running shoes on, so i put on her running shoes, and she will run forever, she will run nonstops twice around the block, and i will just speed walk with her, but she loves it!!!

2. Mylee is way smart for her age, she talks very well, she knows all her abc and sounds, most of the colors, and she loves to read with me, i will read a few word, then she will repeat them, when the book is over, she will yell " I did it, i read the book!" She loves learning!

3. She loves to sing, she begs me to let her listen to her princess songs, she loves to sing along to them, and she knows most of the words! It is way cute, she will also name which movie the song comes from, she also loves to dance, she will take my hands and tell me to dance with her, my sister paige takes dance classes, so she is always practicing, and mylee will try to mimick what paige is doing, so i am starting her in a dance class in september!

4. Mylee is definitely a summer kid, she loves to be barefoot, and hates to be cooped up inside, she loves swimming, and picking flowers! She is full of energy!

I am so blessed to have such a great kid!! I love her tons, I love being a mom!

Dress Up

I went and bought Mylee and her cousin Emily some dress up clothes to play with the other day, and they absolutely love them, they call themselves princess Mylee and princess Emily and if you leave off the princess part, they make sure to remind you, any way i just thought they looked so cute, Mylee thinks she has to wear one of them everyday, even if we are going to the store she thinks she has to wear her princess dress. I love it!

Monday was such a nice day, Mylee wanted to take full advantage of being outside, she is tired of being cooped up, so she had to do a little of everything. We had a fun day, and really enjoyed the sunshine!!

So my mom was painting a picture, so mylee decided that she needed to paint also, well obviously it ended up in being a face painting contest, Mylee is quite the artist, she thought it was pretty funny, we had a ton of fun, i love having a kid, it makes it nice because you always have an excuse to revert back into your childhood years!! I am once again working on potty training Mylee, it was so cute the other day she had on her big girl panties and she bent down to pick something up and she had herself a nice little plumbers crack, it was funny!

Happy valentines Day!

I just thought Mylee looked so cute today, so I had to take pictures of her and show her off, she really wasn't into the picture taking mood today, but oh well. Happy vanlentines day everybody!

Christmas

Christmas time is so wonderful especially now that i have Mylee I love to watch her face light up when we went to go see the Christmas lights, and when she would see Santa [at least from a distance], on christmas eve my entire family came over to spend the night at my

parents, we first went outside and played in the snow, mylee really enjoyed herself, we built a huge snowmen, then we went inside and played games, then got ready for bed, Christmas morning came and we all opened all of our presents, mylee enjoyed opening presents for a brief moment, then when she opened something that she wanted to play with she was done opening and just wanted to play, but eventually we got them all opened, and had some time to play with them, then we went to my grandmas house and spent some time over there, she made mylee the cutest dress, then two o'clock came all to soon, and it was time for mylee to go to her dads house, and I went with Kary to his parents house and had dinner, then opened presents there, then we went to his sisters house where we all played games, it was alot of fun, this was a great christmas!

Christmas seems to be so much more fun now that i have mylee i love to see the excitment it all brings to her. Every other year my parents have the whole family spend the night at their house on Christmas eve, we ate dinner, and then we all played in the snow and built a huge snowman it was tons of fun, mylee really enjoyed the snow, then we all went inside, played some games, and then got ready for bed. Christmas morning came all to early for me but it was lots of fun to watch the excitment on mylee and my sisters kids faces, Mylee really wasn't two excited to open presents
after the first couple she was more interested in playing with the stuff she had already opened, but it was tons of fun to watch her, we adventually finished the unwrapping, and she was able to play with her toys, then we went to my grandmas house for a few hours, and visited with her, she made Mylee the cutest dress, then two o'clock came and mylee was off to her dads.

Gingerbread houses

Well we attepmpted to make gingerbread houses, my little sister paige definitely one this contest nobody else could get theirs to stick together, my brother ty just gave up and ate all of his candy, and mylee just thought she would put all of our houses candy in the bowl of frosting and then eat it, and creat as big of a mess as possible, but we had a great time, you can't have fun in life unless you get messy in the process!!!

Thanksgiving at the Spackman residence

Well this year i decided to take upon me the task of making Thanksgiving dinner, so on saturday I spent most of the day baking pies, and getting groceries for Sunday's dinner, (My family always does a late thanksgiving to try and make it so the whole family can be there) I had quite the pie disaster, i have been baking so many pies lately you think i would have it down to an art, but knowing me, something bad has to happen so after completeing my pies, i made 1 blueberry, 1 apple, 2 pumpkin, 1 lemon merangue, and 1 cherry pie, i was lying in bed trying to sleep and i realized that i had forgotton to add the sugar tot he pumpking pie( how do you forget the sugar, well leave it to me to make that mistake) it was to late to go to the store, so in the morning i told my mom of my pie disaster, she just laughed and we both search the house high and low to find another can of pumpkin so we could start over, well hooray we found one small can so i was able to make one normal pumkin pie, well, we also decided to experiment we scooped out the already cooked pumpkin pie filling and put them in a bowl, added the sugar another egg and some extra evaporated milk and made some new pies out of it, when they were all cooked the "twice baked pumpkin pies looked absolutely horrible, but my mom and I put on our brave faces and took a bite and to our surprise they didn't taste bad at all, it was a little thicker than a normal pumpkin pie, but it almost tasted the same. So if anybody ever makes this mistake (which i am sure none of you ever will) and your not going for a pie beauty contest, then this actually works out pretty good. So I cooked the turkey, my brother and my mom made the marshmellow yams, and keely and I peeled potatoes and made mashed potatoes, paige set the table, and we added a few other items to our menu and then the family started coming, my sister amber made rolls and dinner was perfect, however, nobody in my family other than my mom and I dared to eat my delicious pumpkin pies. but oh well more for me!!! Then we all sat around the table and played games, Tyler and Amber taught us a new game called old margarete, it is a game a pure luck, but it was really fun, as usual, i lost every round, but i enjoyed my self, so other than my pie disaster, thanksgiving dinner was a big success

Trick- or -Treat

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I took Mylee trick-or-treating, it was alot of fun, she made the cutest little chicken. My Sister Amber, her husband, and their two kids came with us, Mylee and Emily ran from door to door fighting over who could knock the most on each door, it was funny, then everybody dumped handfuls of candy into there buckets. I tell you what, if you ever want to collect alot of halloween candy bring a few cute little kids, it works great, i think I have enough candy to hand out to next years trick-or-treaters!

yesterday was a great day, I went and picked up mylee from her dads house and played with her for a bit, then we went to Wal-Mart and did some grocery shopping for dinner. I was excited i made Dinner in a pumpkin, it was beef stew, it took like 4 1/2 hours to make, but the end result was worth it, for dessert I made a peach cobbler!! YUM!

Fall Pictures

My sister and I went and took pictures of our kids, it was lots of fun, however, we couldn't have picked a worse time to go, mylee was due for a nap, and refused to keep her hair done, so it just looks like a mess. I got a few smiles out of her but the rest of them she looked stoned, oh well atleast i got a few good ones!

The leaves looked beautiful, and it was fairly nice weather!
